Food was okay.
Pad thai was not good at all. You could make a better one out of a jar from the grocery store.
Curry was pretty good, but parts of the beef was very fatty and chewy. Rice slightly undercooked, but it was free with it which was a bonus.
We asked for hot sauce as well, which was not very thai, it mostly tasted of vinegar.
I wouldn't return because there is a much better thai place right down the street. Sorry!
Visited Spicy Thai this week during a visit to Niagara-On-The Lake, based on the reviews. We're glad we did - we loved it. We had the "healthy" rolls to start (YUM) and I had green curry and my spouse the lemon chicken. The service was prompt but not rushed and very courteous. The food was excellent. We'll definitely return.
I go quite a bit for lunch. Always consistant meas , you know what you are going to get when you order. The large soup and salad is a great deal but they need to change that banana dressing, me no likey.
The staff is so nice and very efficient. The chips and dip that they serve are awsome and always fresh.
I have been coming here for at least 14 years.......yum is the word that comes to mind!
We love the prices and the fact that they aren't pretencious as many of the thai restaurants in TO are. Their take out is a great option for those wanting to hibernate at home.
They have the best crispy duck and coconut chicken soup! We love their pad thai and bankok pad thai! My personal favourites are their glass noodle salad (mild) and their purple rice pudding. We always have leftovers and my 9 year old even has his favourites!
